Title: First Light - Medium: acrylic on wood panel - Size: approx 22 x 30 in (56 x 76 cm) - Note: This is a commissioned painting. To prepare for this work, I travelled to several groves of black spruce in the Atikokan area to obtain invaluable drawings of these trees which I referred to later while painting this piece.
