Title: Imagining My Grandmother's Wedding - Medium: watercolour and gouache on 300 lb (640 gr) paper - Size: 22 x 30 in (56 x 76 cm) - Note: This painting depicts how I imagined my grandmother's wedding day when she told me that February was the month in which she was married. When I was a child, my grandmother and I left Canada to spend a summer together in Zlobin, her village in Croatia. It was my memories from this time in the village that I drew upon for the creation of this work.
